Your information

Website privacy notice.

How we handle the information you send us.

Website requests

What you share.

Effective date: 2026-09-25

Our forms collect the contact and business details, license or resale information, and project files you choose to send. We use them to answer questions, prepare quotes, review order requests, and send account application packets.

Requesting a packet does not open an account. Please do not send payment details, Social Security numbers, passwords, or completed credit applications through these forms.

Access & storage

Who handles your information.

DC Glass staff review your requests. They are stored outside the public website folder, with email notifications sent to our team. SiteGround and our email providers process information to deliver these services.

File download links expire after seven days. Anyone with a working link may access the file, so please keep links private. Expiration of a link does not delete the stored file.

Retention

Keeping what is needed.

Our selected retention period for website requests and uploads is up to one year (365 days). Staff must first move needed files into our business records. Ongoing jobs, accounting, warranty matters, or other recordkeeping needs may require longer retention.

Email copies and backups are also covered by our retention procedure.

Website information

How you reached us.

Your browser temporarily remembers how you found us, such as a campaign link, referring website, or first page visited. These details may accompany your request. Hosting logs may record IP addresses, pages visited, and visit times; our forms use a coded IP identifier to help prevent spam.

Analytics notice updated: 2026-10-05. Google Analytics is enabled by default unless you turn it off or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Google Analytics uses cookies and event information to help us understand website use, traffic sources, page topics, and interactions such as contact-link clicks and copying public content. We do not send form answers, project files or copied text through our custom analytics events. These interactions do not prove that someone called, placed an order or used an AI service.

Our Google Analytics event and user retention settings are 14 months; user retention can reset with new activity. Standard aggregate reports may be retained longer. Use Privacy & analytics choices at the bottom of a public page to turn analytics off or on. Turning it off stops this integration's collection and removes its analytics cookies from this browser; it does not delete previously collected information. An off preference remains in this browser's storage until you change it or clear that storage. An explicit on preference is remembered for up to 180 days, after which the site's default applies. Choices do not carry over to other browsers or devices. You can use the website with analytics off. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by leaving optional Analytics off.

Google Signals, customer-data matching and advertising personalization are not enabled by this website integration. Google processes Analytics information under its own policies. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Social links lead to services with their own privacy policies.

We also keep daily totals of page views, phone-link clicks, and successfully accepted website requests to review marketing results. These counters do not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, page URLs, or form contents. Browser counting respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Aggregate totals are available to our private office dashboard and may be included in AI marketing reviews; they do not identify which customer called or requested a quote.

Google data

Internal marketing dashboard.

With the account owner's permission, our private office dashboard reads DC Glass's Google Search Console data, including search terms, pages, clicks, impressions and average search positions. We use it to review website performance and prepare marketing recommendations.

When connected, our private dashboard also reads aggregate Google Analytics reports about website visits, engagement, traffic sources and measured interactions. These reports help us assess marketing performance. They do not establish which visitor called or placed an order. When AI reviews are enabled, selected aggregate analytics evidence may be used by OpenAI to prepare recommendations; Google credentials are not included.

When AI reviews are enabled, selected search-performance data is sent to OpenAI to prepare recommendations. Google authorization tokens and passwords are not included in those AI requests. Authorized office staff can view saved reports. Reports and connection credentials are stored on our office server; administrators can disconnect access and remove stored records. Disconnecting Google access alone does not delete earlier reports or backups.
